Analyzed liquidity requirements set by the HKMA and built an Excel VBA model using Bloomberg that automated the Liquidity Maintenance Ratio (LMR) projection, streamlining the process from 10 minutes to a single-click solution.

Shadowed funding dealers, FX traders, and credit traders to gain hands-on exposure to interbank markets, HIBOR mechanics, market-making, and FX trading, while also writing internal market recaps and presenting trade ideas.

M&A - Valuation & Modelling Intern

Valued 5+ properties in HK, AU, and Mainland China using the Term and Reversion Method and trading comps after conducting a comprehensive analysis of the local real estate market with key metrics such as cap rates, reversionary yield etc.

Valued 5+ acquisition targets and acquired companies in M&A using DCF, comps, and precedent transaction methods to assess fair value or impairment loss through in-depth macro, industry, and company research for reasonable financial projections.

Developed and updated Excel VBA scripts to run Monte Carlo simulations and utilized other option pricing models, such as the Black-Scholes model and the Binomial Option Pricing Model to value 5+ ESOPs, stock options, and convertible bonds.

Calculated the MTM value for 20+ FX forwards and swaps, and assisted in pricing 5+ corporate bonds for audit reviews.
